HUNDREDS of Berwick businesses have been invited to a networking function at the Berwick Football Club next Saturday.
Edrington Ward councillors Daniel Mulino and Simon Curtis have organised the event so that businesses not represented in the Berwick Village Chamber of Commerce can meet each other, their ward councillors and relevant council officers.
Cr Curtis put forward a notice of motion at last Tuesday’s council meeting to use $500 in council funds for the mail-out of invitations to the function.
The Berwick Football Club will waive the usual entrance fee for people who present the invitation. Refreshments will be offered in the clubrooms.
