LANG Lang and Longwarry Netball clubs have taken swift action in the wake of the on-court fight between two of their players at a 15-and-under netball match last week.
As The Gazette reported last week, a Longwarry player punched a Lang Lang player after a verbal stoush between the two in the third quarter of the teams’ clash.
Both girls were suspended for a week for breaking their clubs’ respective charters.
Lang Lang secretary Kim Dawson told The Gazette her club was happy to put the issue to rest.
