PAKENHAM and Emerald Secondary College students captivated audiences at Hisense Arena last week, catapulting themselves into the grand final of the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge.
They colleges were among 12 schools to rock into the premier division final.
Pakenham Secondary College won their place for their performance of the legend of Taiga, a story about an ancient forest in Russia with mythical creatures called Leshiyes.
For Emerald students, it was their portrayal of ‘Wanted: Creator of Chaos’, a story about evil, which earned them a place.
The Grand Final will take place at Hisense Arena on 18 September.
