THE Kooweerup Junior Football Club and other children’s sporting groups are kicking goals, thanks to a Woolworths’ grants program.
Pakenham Safeway last week handed over a $2000 cheque to the club to pay for its training jumpers as well as one for $1000 to Garfield Auskick and another for $2500 to the Gembrook junior cricket club.
The cheques were funded through the Woolworths Fresh Food Kids’ Community Grants program.
