Good attendance at meeting

Our meeting of Friday 4 September was well-attended. Only four or five of the members on the register were not present to enjoy a happy day. We were pleased to welcome back our vice-president Wilma James from a short spell of ill-health. It was reported that Win Robinson was still not well.
The door prizes went to Hilda Boening and Nora Todd. The meat tray was won by David Clark, and the voucher was won by Mary Barford. After general business, we settled down to bingo. The prizes went to Erica Albert, Ella Matheson, Alice Haynes, Wilma James, Ann Burrows, Jackie Villalla, Hilda Boening, Mary Barford, Jackie Villalla (that’s twice) and Bessie Gould.
A committee meeting will be held next Friday, 11 September at 9am. Nice to know that the committee members are wide awake by then!
