KWR pool re-opens after pipes repair

THE Kooweerup swimming pool will open this week after repairs to leaking pipes.
Manager Meredith Bowers said the main pool would open this week after a disruptive start to the season. The other two pools were expected to open next week.
“We have had to cancel two local school programs and the local swimming club. Sadly it was the best week, weatherwise, to be opening for the community,” Ms Bowers said.
“However, everyone has worked hard to get the pool up and running as soon as possible and we thank all concerned for this.”
The pool will open from 11.30am to 6.30pm.
