New head at Gold Age

MCGREGOR Gardens Aged Care has welcomed Meigan Lefebure as its new general manager of Gold Age.
With close to 20 years’ experience in the residential aged care sector as a prominent registered nurse and a manager, Ms Lefebure has a demonstrated record of leadership, strategic and financial management as a facility manager, chief executive, state operations manager and national manager in compliance.
Ms Lefebure also sits on a number of boards and committees, such as Aged and Community Care Victoria and the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) industry reference group, established by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing to advise and guide the development of aged care funding tools.
She is also a panel member of the Nurse Adviser and Administrator Panel for the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.
Richard Jenkings, director of Gold Age and Affiliate has said Ms Lefebure arrived at Gold Age with a fantastic and deserved reputation for excellence.
“She has taken the opportunity to head up a growing organisation that espouses the values and beliefs that she holds dear, as both a registered nurse and a manager in residential aged care,” Mr Jenkings said.
Gold Age operates four residences including Camberwell Gardens Aged Care, Deloraine Aged Care in Greensborough, Greenway Gardens Aged Care in Heathmont, and the newly acquired McGregor Gardens Aged Care in Pakenham.
