Tears, fears and lots of sex

BRING the tissues … this is a tear-jerker. But don’t be turned off by the promise of tears because this movie has everything: sex, sex, sex and sex, a good storyline – and then some more sex.
But in saying that, it also ticks all the boxes for a couple arguing over what film to see when little is showing at the cinemas.
One: both main characters are attractive, a win for both sides of the relationship.
Two: there are lots of sex scenes, enough to keep the boys interested. And if that doesn’t help, there are Anne’s boobs – side boobs, front boobs, every kind of boobs.
Three: there is a storyline that captures viewers as the couple face the trials and tribulations of Parkinson’s Disease.
Maggie is a twenty-something free spirit hit by the early onset of the debilitating disease.
In her attempt to take control of her life she does all in her power to have casual relationships – without commitment.
But she soon meets her match in Jamie, a cocky pharmaceutical salesman who does well with the ladies, and the chemistry between the two is unstoppable.
When Maggie rejects Jamie, the first woman ever to do so, he finds himself trying to do the impossible … make her fall in love.
Enter comedy. The highlight: Jamie walking in on his brother “enjoying” a sex tape of him and Maggie, tears, Maggie not coping with her illness. And a happy ending.
It’s an enjoyable film for those who don’t take life too seriously.
