The music won’t stop

FOUR Sunday afternoon concerts will be held at Emerald Lake Park this February.
Cardinia Shire Council’s Summer Music Series is a free, family friendly community event held at the new bandstand located between the wading pool and the cafe in Emerald.
Victoria Police Showband will kick-start the event at 12.30 on Sunday 6 February, playing everything from jazz, to swing and top 40 hits.
The concert will then continue on Sunday 13 February, again for a 12.30 start, featuring The Bones and Bodhran Bush Band.
Then there’s more on Sunday 20 February, for a 12.30 start with the Cardinia Civic Concert Band.
The last and final concert will be held at 12.30 on Sunday 27 February, with Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow who will conclude the concert with a guaranteed dance and sing-along.
Residents are invited to attend and enjoy musical entertainment over the summer period.
Cardinia council encourage families to arrive early for an up front view.
Bring along your picnic lunch and a blanket to enjoy the summer sun and the sound of diverse music.
Emerald Lake Park is located off Emerald Lake Road, Emerald.
