Tradies chip in

LOCAL tradies are being called to arms.
Maurice Byrne has launched the Adopt-a-Town program to send Pakenham tradies to help rebuild in the aftermath of the Queensand floods.
Mr Byrne is the program organiser and said several local tradies had already put up their hand but they were still looking for more.
“We invite all local tradies to join us in our Adopt-a-Town program; be it for a week or a year, the experience and rewards will be an amazing journey.”
Mr Byrne lived in Queensland for 20 years and wanted to help with the rebuilding.
“It will take many years to rebuild homes and businesses.
“Some may never recover financially but the rebuilding of spirits can start now with the assistance of Victorian tradies.”
Mr Byrne has organised a partnership with ART Beach, a Queensland building company to deploy tradies into the Lockyer Valley District.
