MUMS will be getting some well-earned rest while dads will have the opportunity to spend more quality time with their children while participating in fun and exciting activities being held as part of the Dads Matter program.
City of Casey manager of Youth and Family Services Collette McMahon said the programs would give dads a chance to spend more time with their children and at the same time get to know other dads and build support channels. The popular program drew a large crowd of 6000 dads and their children last year.
This year, events will be held weekly and among them are dad-friendly activities such as gardening, playing Playstation and cooking. All activities are free of charge.
