MOST houses in Mill Street, Pakenham were soaked in knee-deep floodwaters when the creek burst on Friday night.
Resident Jane Black said the creek rose so high from the heavy rain that it burst its banks and flooded most houses in the street.
“It was half way up to our knees,” she said.
She said most residents stayed to mop up the mess throughout the night.
