Community invited to the Cross

UPPER Beaconsfield residents are inviting the wider community to a day of family-friendly fun next weekend at the Upper Beaconsfield Festival.
The event will be held at Charing Cross on Saturday 19 February.
The festival will begin at 9am with a myriad of activities, refreshments and local produce on offer.
For the children, the festival has pony rides, inflatable slides and plenty of treats on offer.
For the adults, there will be music playing the whole day from local musicians as well as a talent show and an art show.
The whole-day event will kick-off at 8am with the six kilometre Tower Fun Run to be followed by a bike race at 9.30am.
Those looking for a challenge can sign up to the mountain bike ride event.
The Citizen of the Year award will be announced at the conclusion of festival at 12.45pm.
