AN APPLICATION to build a worm farm along Boundary Drain Road has been submitted to Cardinia Council.
Councillor Stuart Halligan said any objections could be made against this application, especially if people felt intimidated by the project.
THE $470,000 Federal Government stimulus package received by the Shire Council will be split into seven parts across the shire.
Cr Halligan said $50,000 would go as an addition to the funds of the Cochrane Park project and the shire engineers were now working to enhance the overall design. Cr Halligan said he wanted the proposed ‘Avenue of Honour’ to be completed as soon as possible.
All clock towers in Kooweerup read the correct time and the historical boards are in the process of being re-written by etching the details on to aluminium plates.
They will read exactly as before except that some spelling mistakes on the original boards will be corrected and there will be details of the now defunct Potato Festival. The original boards will go to the Kooweerup Historical Society.
