THE Latrobe Valley netball region is about to hold trials for the 2011 state titles.
The region is looking for talented netballers who play for a club/association within the Latrobe Valley Region, including the football/netball leagues.
The region will field three teams, 15 and under, 17 and under and an open side.
The state titles – run by Netball Victoria – will be held on 8 and 9 October at the State Netball Hockey Centre, Melbourne.
The region encourages netball players within the area to consider playing at this elite level.
There will be about eight training sessions between now and October, including a tournament at Frankston on 3 July.
Trial dates are for 15 and under on 3 and 10 June from 6.45pm to 8.45pm at the Churchill Indoor Leisure Centre, and 17 and under and open on 5 June at noon at the Moe Indoor Recreation Centre and 17 June between 6.45pm and 8.15pm at the Churchill Indoor Leisure Centre.
