THE school holidays affected some of the teams in the most recent round of matches in the Mid Gippsland Badminton Association, where players of the past filled in.
The game of the week was between C grade teams Warragul and Drouin Maroon, where only six points separated the “new-look” teams.
The Gippsland teams event happens at Traralgon on 31 July.
The Mid-Gippsland tournaments are being played over the next two weeks.
On Friday, in the singles section, A/B grades and C grade will play at Warragul, while D and E grades will play at Drouin.
On the following Friday 15 July, the doubles section, A/B and D grades will play at Warragul. C and E grades will play at Drouin. Games start at 6.30pm.
