Three-way tussle

THE first monthly medal of 2012 is still up for grabs at Cardinia Beaconhills Golf Links after a three-way tie between players from each grade in Saturday’s stroke competition.
A Grade’s Roy Solomon (4), Troy Tranter (18) from B Grade and Mick Leddin (24) from C Grade all came in with nett scores of 64. The trio will play-off next month to determine the medal winner. Solomon’s terrific gross score of 68 was the day’s best.
