A MOTORCYCLIST is set to be charged after police caught him hooning through Nar Nar Goon at 208 kilometres per hour last week.
Police said speed cameras detected the 19-year-old Nar Nar Goon man heading eastbound along the Princes Highway between Mt Ararat North Road and Bessie Creek Road just after 10.30pm on Wednesday 22 February.
His registration number was recorded by police and he was later intercepted on the Princes Highway at Beaconsfield.
Police seized his motorcycle and police said he would be interviewed and charged with serious traffic offences.
Police are calling for witnesses to contact Senior Constable Andrew Jones at Cardinia Highway Patrol on 5945 2545.
