Don’t miss Little Shop

CELEBRATING its 10th year, Cardinia Performing Arts Company is delighted to be presenting the hugely popular production Little Shop of Horrors.
Based on the movie starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin, this show is one not to miss.
A show that began life in a tiny off-Broadway venue in the early 1980s has expanded this February to fill the Cardinia Cultural Centre stage in Pakenham.
For anyone unfamiliar with the story (and not to give away the plot), it’s essentially a comedic science fiction spoof with a bit of a dark side.
CPAC has once again assembled an outstanding cast.
Brad Ericson’s sweet-voiced Seymour is no sap as he has to bleed himself dry for plant food, popular CPAC performer Dan Bellis plays the role of the worn-out FlowerShop owner Mr Mushnik, Josh Prince is intimidating as the diabolical dentist Orin Scrivello, Jess Rawlins is playing sweet Audrey, who truly does seem good enough to eat and last but not least there is the plant (voice: Kelly Price, man-in-costume: Ashley Jenkins) who eventually consumes them all.
The show opened on 25 February at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, Lakeside Boulevard, Pakenham.
Ticket prices are adults $30, pensioner/student conc $27, children U15 $25, family (two adults and two children) $100.
Show dates: 3 March 8pm, 4 March 2pm, 8 March 7pm (all tix $25), 9 March 8pm.
There are also special deals for groups of 15 or more – phone for details.
Book early – strictly limited season. Tickets are available either online at www.trybooking.com, phone 0407 090 354 or email rrene&0@hotmail.com or www.cardiniaperformingarts.com
