IT’S not everyday that the main prize in a raffle is a racehorse – well, a share in one anyway.
A $10 ticket buys the chance to win a five per cent share in a Snitzel x Arpineh Colt to be made race-ready by top Caulfield trainer Mick Price. Training fees are included for two years.
The competition is all part of Jason Underwood’s fundraising campaign for Windermere Child and Family Services.
Mr Underwood is taking part in the Windermere Adventure Challenge which will see him head to Vietnam for a 10-day trip of kayaking or cycling and trekking. As part of a group of fellow volunteers Mr Underwood will stay in local homes and visit Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation to learn more about the work it does for kids in crisis.
All proceeds of the racehorse raffle will be donated to the Windermere Adventure Challenge. Call Jason Underwood on 0431 241 131 for tickets. The raffle will be drawn on Saturday 17 March.
