A Mark of success

PAKENHAM’S Mark Teague has been recognised for his photography talents.
On Tuesday 15 May, one of Victoria’s leading wedding photographers, Mark Teague Photography, was recognised for a consistent achievement in helping to make every brides day one to remember.
Looking back on your big day is a highlight for most brides, and Mark Teague has been commended for his work in making these moments more memorable than any other.
At an annual award night hosted by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy, Mark was named as one of 19 finalists for Victorian Photographer of the year.
At the event – which was host to more than 500 people – finalists appeared on the screen, as voted by the brides.
Mark was delighted to see his face on the screen after constant positive feedback from his customers.
“It felt great because the recognition is based on the bride’s perspective of you as a supplier,” Mark said.
Mark said he has not yet received any off-putting feedback from his consumers.
“Not one bride has said, aw yeah, that’s okay,” the photographer said.
“I don’t know what I would do if I got a negative comment.”
The part-time photographer said he is proud of his efforts, given the short amount of time he has been in the industry, and the fact he operates from home.
Mark finished seventh and is hopeful he will continue to receive positive feedback from brides.
