A BEACONSFIELD bike shop has been targeted twice in a matter of days.
Spider Bikes on the Old Princes Highway was broken into on 22 June at 5.20am and again on 25 June.
Detective Senior Constable David Mealia said a late model blue 4WD resembling a Subaru Forrester was spotted at the scene.
“Two males have exited the Subaru and smashed a hole in the window,” he said.
“They have stolen a Trek mountain bike while the third offender waited in the vehicle.”
Det Sen Const Mealia said one offender was wearing dark clothing with light coloured sleeves and a hood, while the other offender was wearing dark clothing.
In the second incident, the bike shop was broken into on 25 June at 4am.
The offenders have again smashed a window after it was repaired and stolen two bikes.
“The same vehicle was involved,” Det Sen Const Mealia said.
