A TREMOR measuring 4.5 in magnitude was felt in the south-east just after 7.11pm on Friday night.
The quake was centred 13km south-west of Moe in the Latrobe
Valley, at a depth of 10km, according to the US Geological Survey website. The Geosciences Australia website had crashed within seconds of the tremor being felt.
A quake in the same location exactly a month ago measured 5.4 in magnitude, and was felt widely in south-east and central Victoria.
