By JARROD POTTER
EVERY team needs an anchor.
Someone who mops up defensively, takes strong marks and runs the ball up the ground quickly to create forward opportunities.
For Endeavour Hills under-9s on Sunday morning, this task fell square on the shoulders of Tyler Studd, who relished the task at hand.
Tyler took countless marks in the defensive end of Singleton Reserve, making sure Fountain Gate couldn’t get past him.
When he wasn’t floating back to stop the Gators from snapping the win from the Eagles, Tyler was in the midfield running hard and kicking the ball to his team-mates with great accuracy.
