Great time, pet

ON PAGE 20 of last week’s Gazette there was a story – “Pets on paw-rade”, well our family (my husband, myself, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and our one-year-old kitten attended and what a most wonderful time we all had.
Not only did our Sheltie and kitten win prizes, but I am delighted with all the effort and work which was put into this event, which in my opinion would be one of the best with all the pets from Newfoundlands to a tiny lamb attending.
Never were there any ’threats’ from one another, all the animals were so special, the owners should be very proud of them as they all showed their special graces to one another.
If all humans were the same, what a beautiful world it would make.
The day itself weatherwise was superb, perhaps for the pets, and the location was perfect, and as stated all behaved, humans had seats, green ‘carpets’ for the pets AND nobody had to pick up anything, the animals were all so great!
Thankyou so very much, we were told there is another one on 6 December, which we are really looking forward to.
Well done to the organisers and animals – superb job, and a special thanks to The Gazette, stories such as this are number one!
Sue Johns,
Pakenham.
