ON THURSDAY 13 November I was driving from Berwick on the Princes Highway crossing the overpass of the Monash Freeway when in front of me was an ambulance with writing on the rear window saying words to the effect that the sooner the Napthine Government was out of government, the sooner the problems for the ambulances would be over.
It seems to me that every election whether it be Liberal or Labor the unions for the ambulances complain and want more. The fact is we live in a growing society and the infrastructure, that is roads, highways, hospitals, fire departments, and every other espect of our society have similar problems with our expanding populations.
I am appalled that Labor allows the unions to advertise on their behalf on taxpayers’ property, and show a bad example to our children that graffiti is OK.
Also I’m ashamed to think in Australia that these tactics are used by some people to get what they want, perhaps unjustly as I don’t know what arrangements the government makes with each department.
Helen Crowle,
Berwick.
