I’M WRITING in response to the Liberal member for Gembrook, Brad Battin. Of course he’s going to support the new port! He’s a Liberal. But what real benefits is this new port going to bring to the local communities?
Traffic yes. Local jobs no. Can you see a big truck going through the local area stopping to use the local businesses? I hardly think so, given their tight schedule. More deaths on our roads?
Absolutely. What’s not to like about this new port?
