IT WAS a superb day for the Berwick and District Show Society’s annual horse event recently.
After a record number of entries at the event, Berwick Show Society horse chairwoman Sharon Geoffrey said she was thrilled with the day.
“We saw an increased interest from local pony clubs and this resulted in an exceptional competition for the Evan Henry Memorial Competition,” she said.
“This year we had the addition of the Adult Riding Club, and this was well supported.”
A large number of competitors faced off in the VAS Off the Track competition, just as they did for the Paula Rae Memorial Competition.
The show society congratulates all the winners and thanks all the judges, stewards, volunteers and its numerous sponsors who combine to make it such a successful event.
