There were approximately 500 export and 500 young cattle penned at Pakenham’s Victorian Livestock Exchange representing an increase of 280 head week-on-week.
The usual buying group was present and operating in a mixed market.

Feeder steers were a few cents dearer overall, grown steers and bullocks eased eight cents and heavyweight crossbred manufacturing steers were off by five cents.
