Celebrate the moments

It’s safe to say that 2021 has been another really tough year for so many of us which has tested our communities in ways we could never have imagined.

Our collective response to the pandemic, storms, floods and serious disruptions to our daily lives is a testament to the stamina and kindness that lies at the heart of our communities.

Together, we have continued to rise to the occasion and do the right thing for ourselves, and those around us. I want to acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of everyone to support others in so many ways, large and small.

And so from my family to yours, I wish you a very happy, healthy, and restful festive season.

Like so many of us, I’m looking forward to reconnecting with family and friends, supporting our incredible local businesses and getting out and about many happy reunions and fantastic moments between friends and family on the way.

Stay safe, take care, and have a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
