Let your hair down

The Fallachi Hair team in Berwick have been providing bespoke hairdressing services to the community for the last 27 years, be it a cut, colour, or style. They are a team of women working together to form a women-led environment. With a clientele that predominantly consists of women, Fallachi Hair has created an environment that women are comfortable in, feeling welcomed and appreciated.

It is a sanctuary for women to come and let their hair down (quite literally), while getting some well-earned relaxation time. They can engage with other women, who understand them and may face similar challenges as they do. The hair salon is an environment that can provide a sense of belonging for women.

With International Women’s Day bringing more and more awareness to the importance of women’s roles in society and gender equality, it’s important that women have places like Fallachi Hair where they can be surrounded by other women, embrace each other, and express themselves how they like – with hair especially being an amazing form of self-expression. Everyone can play a part when it comes to gender equality, and all women should have the right to be included, and have a sense of belonging.
