ENCHANTING fourpiece vocal group Classical Gass will perform at the Cardinia Cultural Centre this Saturday.
The Pakenhambased group, comprising Alan Cherry, Emma Perkins, Craig Milligan and Kamara Wagstaff, has been together for 18 months.
They have worked together in tribute or duo shows and have united, coming together as a powerful, entertaining quartet.
Classical Gass will use the performance at the Cardinia Culture Centre to launch their longawaited CD, which will be available on the night.
Pakenham resident Alan Cherry, the group’s bass guitarist and singer/songwriter, said the group’s music, inspired by Manhattan Transfer, combines new and old in a true style of performance.
“We do the Eagles, Chicago and the Little River Band, to name a few,” Alan said.
It will be Alan’s second performance at the Cultural Centre, and he is expecting a great night.
“It is looking really good, we are very excited,” he said.
For $45 a head, guests will enjoy a twocourse dinner and show, starting at 7pm. Seats can be secured by phoning 1300 887 624.
