New watch group

A NEW Neighbourhood Watch group has been formed in Beaconsfield.
The group will hold its official launch on 18 August.
Cardinia Shire mayor Garry Runge last week earned support from council for a $132 donation to the group. The money will help fund the cost of its launch celebrations.
Cr Runge, a former policeman, said he was a strong supporter of the Neighbourhood Watch initiative.
