FULL marks to Norah Johnson who wants to hear from people interested in forming a friends of Berwick Views Lake system.
Mrs Johnson said she moved to Berwick Views from Phillip Island, but became concerned about a build-up of rubbish in the lake system (Gazette 16 November).
“We have a beautiful lake here and other people have expressed concern to me about rubbish in the water,” she said.
“We need to do something before the lake becomes a rubbish dump.
“We have met lakeside and I believe we have enough interested people to form a group.”
My view of the park is that it is a rather beautiful little spot deserving of a little community tender love and care.
Mrs Johnson can be contacted on 9769 4940.
