CASH and other goods were stolen from a car in Kooweerup on Friday night, and the owner has pleaded for the thieves to bring some of her stolen possessions back.
Prescription glasses, a wallet, clothing and jewellery that was a birthday present were among the items taken from the car between 9pm and 10pm.
The car was parked in the Royal Hotel car park when thieves broke in by prising a door open.
The car’s owner, a young woman, said she did not expect to see some of the items stolen – including $200 in cash and $300 in gift vouchers – again.
But she pleaded with thieves to return personal items that would be of no use to anybody else.
She said the items could be returned to Pakenham or Kooweerup police stations.
