Witnesses sought to servo assault

POLICE are searching for witnesses after an assault at a BP service station in Pakenham on Sunday.
Police said an unknown male approached a man who was sitting in his car at the service station and punched him a couple of times in the head.
The man was left with abrasions and swelling to his head.
Police are searching for a green Torana in connection with the assault.
Anyone with information is asked to call Constable Justine Rogers at Pakenham Police on 5941 1033.

THIEVES targeted a Pakenham Upper home recently, stealing a distinctive looking quad bike.
Police said the bike was stolen some time on 15 January after the house was broken into.
Police said the offenders had piled up some items from the house in the shed, possibly with the intention of coming back to get them.
Police are searching for the quad bike, an orange Suzuki quadrunner, and two men in relation to the burglary.

A CAR was stolen from the Pakenham Inn on the Princes Highway last week.
Police are searching for the car, a gold 2004 Holden Rodeo ute, which was stolen on 18 January.
The car was found missing after the owner came out of the hotel and realised he had left the car keys on the seat.

A PAKENHAM man, 35, was charged with cultivation and possessing cannabis after police raided a Pakenham home last week.
Police executed a search warrant on 20 January and found a small number of marijuana plants. The man was bailed to appear before Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 3 March.

JEWELLERY was stolen from a home in Bluebird Avenue, Cockatoo, between 5pm on 12 January and 5am on 13 January.
The owner did not immediately realise anything was missing.
