A MOTORCYCLIST was seriously injured when he collided with a semitrailer in Pakenham on the weekend.
The Brunswick East man, 31, was taken to The Alfred hospital after the two vehicles crashed on Gembrook Road.
Police said the motorbike and semitrailer were travelling in opposite directions when the truck struck the motorcyclist at 10.15am on Saturday.
The driver of the semitrailer, a 58yearold Thorpdale man, was not injured in the incident.
The motorcyclist was still in hospital yesterday in a stable condition.
Police are still investigating the incident.
