IT was a disappointing round 17 for ROC Netball Club on Saturday with not one team recording a win after several closely fought matches.
A GRADE
ROC started the game poorly and failed to get back in the game.
The team displayed some of its class and ability, winning the third quarter and reducing the margin. However it failed to maintain the pressure in the final quarter.
Scores: Beaconsfield 49 d ROC 40.
B GRADE
ROC tried hard all day in what was a close game until the final quarter, when Beaconsfield pulled away.
Boons Rose Growers award went to Lisa Stephens for a great defensive game and Sheree Smith received the Croftminster award for her effort in WD.

C GRADE
A great team effort that saw ROC take it up to top side Beaconsfield.
Chantelle Frenken did some excellent work in defence, receiving the Croftminster award for her game and she was well backed up by Meredith Rotteveel.
Leia Van Deelen shot beautifully while the midcourt worked tirelessly all game

17 AND UNDER
ROC showed some good passages of play, which was encouraging leading up to finals.
The defence worked hard all day, whilst the midcourt did well to bring the ball down to the goalers who finished off well.
Carly Louch received the E/T award for her great game in goals, driving and shooting well.

15 AND UNDER
A good effort by ROC that fought hard throughout the game.
In what was a close match, the team worked tirelessly in both the defence and attacking ends of the court to keep the score close, but Beaconsfield was able to pull away in the final quarter.

13 AND UNDER
A great game by the ROC that displayed great teamwork and drive throughout the game.
The RPS Packaging award went to Tylah Ingram for her superb effort and game.
