NAR NAR GOON/Maryknoll won the toss in A Grade and bowled, having Cardinia 1/51 after 20 overs. But, the next 20 went for 108 as Cardinia finished with 4/159.
Nick Fromhold was the pick of the bowlers, containing the batsmen with 0/13 off eight overs in the opening spell. Josh Hodson (1/32), Steve Lewis (1/29) and Brendan McGrath (0/25) did well in the middle overs, and Craig Lewis (2/24) bowled without luck.
Nar Nar Goon/Maryknoll made a promising start, Matthew Lownds making 43 as it moved to 2/61. With 16 runs needed off the last two overs, smart batting got Nar Nar Goon home, and it finished on 6/166, Steve Lewis striking an inspirational 45 not out as his side recorded its first win of the season.

Nar Nar Goon lost the toss against Cardinia and bowled. Raj Singh and Adam Cooper opened the attack, with Raj picking up a wicket in his second over. The bowlers toiled hard without much success until Brodie Glen took a wicket in his second over, making the score 2/96. The bowling and fielding stayed tight, and Cardinia was out for 186 in the 36th over. Best of the bowlers were Sean Somers, with 4/19 off five overs, while Glen bowled well for 3/29 off eight overs.
The batting began disastrously. Glen joined Sam Pullin in the 14th over with the score on 7/58 and Pullin took to the bowling, hitting eight sixes and seven fours, with good support from Glen. The pair added 120, Pullin making a superb 96 and Glen a patient 31. Pullin was out with the Goon needing six runs for victory, Glen hitting the winning runs with a straight drive for four.

Winning the toss against top side Beaconsfield, Nar Nar Goon batted and was soon in trouble at 3/12 off eight overs. Mick Payroli joined Troy Knights and the pair took the score to 73 before Payroli fell for a well-made 33. Knights fell soon after for 29 with the score on 79, before lower-order hitting by Nick Smith (10) and good running by Jake Sweeney (13) lifted the total to 8/105 after 40 overs.
Defending such a small score was always going to need tight bowling and good fielding. After seven overs, Beacy had slumped to 4/10, with Ryon Tocknell twice knocking out the middle stump. Nick Bransgrove then ripped out Beacy’s middle order out, taking 3/23. At 8/90, captain Col Hodson wrapped up the tail, finishing with 3/13. Jordon Hodson took two great catches as the Goon won by 14 runs, keeping alive its finals chances.

Gembrook sent Nar Nar Goon in. Scott Campbell and John Preen again gave the team a good start with another 70-run partnership, Campbell falling for 39 and Preen out for 25. Then Matt Murphy made a smart 31 as Nar Goon/Maryknoll reached 162 off 40 overs.
Jason Campbell and Jeff Stephanitsch then bowled well, taking 1/13 off eight overs and 2/13 off seven, respectively. Ash Bailey chipped in with 2/8, and Preen had a good all-round game, taking 3/27, as the team registered its fourth win of the season.

Winning the toss and batting, the boys made a slow start, losing their first wicket in the ninth over with the score on 23. Steady runs and good partnerships resulted in a competitive 5/120 after 25 overs. Lachlan Henstock and Nick Leonidas were the best of the bats, both retiring on 25 and 26, respectively. Emerald never really challenged, dismissed in the 17th over for 49. Jackson Payroli took 3/3, Nick Leonidas 2/12 and Joey Murphy 2/9 as finals hopes remained.

Nar Nar Goon, playing Pakenham Upper, bowled well to keep a strong side to only 60, with smart fielding a feature. The Marygoons finished on 6/76 to remain undefeated.
