Raiders kill kitten

CALLOUS burglars are being held responsible for the death of a kitten during a raid on a Cockatoo home last week.
Pakenham police said the offenders entered the Arthur Road house between the morning of 22 February and 2am on 23 February after kicking in the front door.
The house was ransacked and police says the kitten was killed after one of the offenders stomped on it.
Electrical items were stolen from the lounge room, including a television and DVD player.
The owners were not home at the time of the burglary.
In another incident in Cockatoo, a motorbike was stolen from a Galah Street home.
The bike was stolen from the carport underneath the house some time between 8pm on 23 February and 8am on 24 February.
Police are searching for the 2003 KTM motorcycle with registration number CR 166.
