Paying rates early could pay off

RATEPAYERS in the City of Casey who pay their rates before Friday 30 September 2005 will go into a competition to win valuable prizes.
The council’s rates competition prizes are four sixmonth memberships to the Casey Aquatic and Recreation Centre valued at $462 each.
Other prizes include two vouchers of $250 each to be spent at the Centro Cranbourne Shopping Centre.
Casey mayor Neil Lucas said the competition was a great incentive for paying rates early.
“We are pleased to be running this competition for the seventh successive year.
“Last year’s competition saw more than 5800 ratepayers pay their rates in full by 30 September.
“Application forms are available on the back of the recentlydelivered rates brochure.”
