CANDIDATES in the Cardinia Shire Council elections have been urged not to forget the bid for a regional motor sports facility.
Representatives of the Kooweerup and District Motorcycle Club and Pakenham Auto Club have written to candidates outlining the push to establish a facility in Cardinia Shire. Motor sports enthusiast John Carney said the issue dated back to 1998, and that several reports undertaken by Cardinia Shire and working groups had established the need for a such a facility in the region.
