SCHOOLS and community groups, have been invited to apply for grants of up to $50,000 to support watersaving projects.
La Trobe MP Jason Wood said a community water grant was an excellent way to encourage groups to save water and learn how to manage local water resources.
“There are many different types of projects eligible and examples can be found by visiting the website www.communitywatergrants.gov.au, he said. “Applications can also be downloaded by visiting this site or by calling 1800 780 730.”
