THERE will be free entry to all patrons at next Wednesday’s Warragul trotting meeting, which features the Clem Pitt Memorial Pace and is being supported by the National Servicemen’s Association.
A close finish looms in the Neerim South Quarry and Concrete Recycling Horse of the Year title leading into the final meeting of the season.
There are five winning chances in the award and all five of those horses are competing on Wednesday.
They are Farouk, Clementine (joint leaders on 12 points), Johnny Veteran (10 points), Village Jim and Kelly Rama (eight points).
Jodi Quinlan has the Gippsland Septic Tanks Driver of the Year award safely won, while her uncle Gary trails Jayne Davies by one point in the YGP Grain and Hardware trainers’ premiership.
