Happy days here again

PAKENHAM Senior Citizens had a happy day at the club on Monday, when 143 members were in attendance.
Birthday wishes this week go to Martha Walgers, Mira Roberts, Doreen Millane, Joan Condie, Cynthia Gee, Fern Williams, Ted Summers, Leo Rounds and Janet Macreadie. Members also congratulated Ron and Alma Dyker, who celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary last week.
Norma Beechey and Georgie Black are still on the sick list and members wish them well. New members Peter Chamberlain and Pauline Sinfield were welcomed. Coming events are: Wednesday, carpet bowls, 1pm; Thursday, line dancing 8.30am, arthritis exercise and tai chi 9.45am, bingo 1pm.
Little Tatts winners were Helen Cook, Mira Roberts, Sheila Howell and Marion Phillips. Ray Walsh and Ken Woodberry were door prize winners and Betty Coombs won the raffle.
