Sounding board is set up

A NEW communitybased committee has the ear of Cardinia Shire councillor Helen Ward.
The 13person group was set up from towns within the Bunyip Ward to provide feedback on council issues.
Cr Ward said she was pleased to announce the establishment of the consultative committee.
“The purpose of this committee is to enhance and increase community engagement through a community forum to discuss strategic local and municipal issues,” Cr Ward said.
“I see this committee operating as a twoway information sharing and open communicative collective of community views on council issues and matters of local interest.”
Representatives are Rosa Shanahan, Sue Beattie, Tim Collis, Terri Wade, Carmel McMillan, Norm Henwood, Reg Mattingley, Anne Jones, Mark Caines, Michael O’Brien, Sandy Keysers, Andrew Troedel and Graeme Daw.
