THE Casey Farmers Market has been moved to the Old Cheese Factory, Homestead Road, Berwick.
The Rotary Club of Berwick conducts the market – from Saturday, 27 January—on the fourth Saturday of each month.
Market coordinator Geoff Rankin said the Old Cheese Factory contained the historic 1860s Springfield Homestead, the cheese factory, chapel, art gallery, craft centre, function room, picnic area, playgrounds and ample car parking. He said it was the perfect place for a communitybased farmers market.
Many more stalls and increased food product varieties will be the feature of this year’s markets.
The firstquarter markets listed for 2007 are 27 January, 24 February, 24 March. Trading is from 8am to 12.30pm
