Traders elected new head

PETER Thompson is the new head of the Lang Lang Traders Association.
Mr Thompson, manager of the town’s community medical centre, was appointed at the annual general meeting last month.
The meeting represented a changing of the guard for the association, with Shaun Earley elected as Mr Thompson’s deputy and Sheelagh Martin from Lang Lang Pet Supplies taking on the job of secretary.
Peter Marris was returned as treasurer.
Peter Martin is assistant secretary and Cynthia Gane returned as newsletter editor.
