CATANI Football Club will be well represented in this year’s finals series by four of its five teams.
After the homeandaway season, the senior side finished in second place and gained a week off. The underage sides will all play in elimination finals this week after finishing sixth, fourth and third respectively.
The seniors had a solid hitout against Warragul Industrials and, at times, showed some of the brilliant form needed to go all the way. Overall the Blues were never threatened by a side desperate to win for a chance at the top six.
The return of Josh Tymensen from injury and Nathan Ruskin’s efforts in defence made a difference and the Blues recorded a 43point win.
