Football club recalls some old times

Far left:Far left:

TOORADIN Dalmore Football Club president Chris Denereaz told nearly 100 guests at the club’s annual past players reunion that the club was fortunate to have the facilities it has.
And Mr Denereaz said Tooradin was lucky to have the club that provided the facilities.
“It is a pleasure to see the past players at this reunion that has become a tradition for the club.
“This year we have placed an emphasis on the 1975 and 1985 premiership teams, and I am pleased to see so many here.
“I thank Joe Svaganovic and his team for their work organising this lunch.”
Mr Denereaz said contacting people from the premiership sides had been a big job.
The club played in the West Gippsland League from 1976 to 2004, but is now affiliated with the Casey Cardinia League, a virtual remake of the old South West Gippsland Football League.
“We have gone the full circle,” Mr Denereaz said.
“We have found the competition tough and we are not quite up to the standard, but we are looking at good prospects.
“We have appointed a senior footballer to help develop our under18 side and we already have the framework for this in place.”
